We're a little obsessed with La La Land around here lately. Ryan and I LOVED the movie, and of course we Amazon Primed the soundtrack as soon as we got home. Haha! I swear we play that album at least twice a day...every...single...day. So when it came time to choose Ryan's birthday cake theme, it was a no-brainer. La La Land cake it is!
This was a fondant covered vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream. I used spray food coloring in purple, blue, and black to make the sky. The dancing Mia and Sebastian are all hand cut gumpaste. This was super fun to make and I was very pleased with the final product!
